Whether you want to connect with the current leadership of the Law Review, or are looking to re-connect with those who served alongside you, make this your first stop to starting that dialogue. We’re always available to help.
The UMKC Law Review advisors and outgoing editorial board are pleased to introduce the editorial board which assumed leadership in spring 2022 to begin work on Volume 91 of the publication. Most notably for alumni, the new Development Editor is Ashley Cox, a 2L from St. Clair, Missouri. Kait will work closely with Editor-in-Chief Katie Johnson, a 2L from Wichita, Kansas, to further enhance the Law Review’s outreach with former board or staff members, and other alumni.
This new board has already overcome the challenge of spending the majority of their law school careers navigating a pandemic while excelling in coursework and extracurriculars both virtually and in-person. Though we our world faces uncertainty, there’s no doubt that we are prepared and excited to engage with our extraordinary alumni and honor the Law Review’s rich history as we all celebrate more than 90 years of publication. We look forward to doing so by hosting in-person events and opportunities for our members to engage with you.
Please feel free to reach out to Ashley anytime to share ideas about connecting with the Law Review, memories you want to share, or just to say hi. She can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org and is always happy to share more information about the Law Review’s alumni relations efforts or help answer questions about past publications.
